It's not about us!

Often times we make the mistake of going through a situation and having a pity party..."oh Lord, why me", or "I am always going through something". We are always using words that puts the focus on us. For example: me, I or any other words that puts the eyes on ourselves. What we haven’t learn or continuously ignore is the fact that trials and tribulations we go through really have nothing to do with us individually. We are here to bring about a change in the lives of others and to help others overcome by our testimony. How can we have a testimony if we never go through anything? It’s time we go through and catch on to the lessons learn so we may help someone else along the way. Count it all joy. Things happen to only make you stronger for the next situation. At the same time, we experience things in order to help others along the way. How else will people see the true glory and manifestation of God? We have become a selfish people; that is not pleasing to God. Everything cannot be about you (me). Learn how to pray that God gives you strength as you go through instead of asking God to bring you out. Not saying anything is wrong with that but what would you have learned or taught.....
